Awesome Chinese restaurant! New owners for the last 10 years. Lovely extensive menu, really fresh food, generous helpings, they do take away in exactly the time they say. Plenty of room, plenty of parking.
Great food nice people
We had for main the Chiefs roast duck and special fried rice. Its the "ducks guts". My goodness the food is amazing. The staff are a credit to the business. Local wine selection is excellent. So good tomorrow we are going the Grove Estate to buy more. Thank you.
The food was delicious and plentiful. In fact we couldn't eat it all, so broughtvtwo containers home to have for dinner the next evening. We were the only customers for dinner, but that could have been because it was a Monday. The two young girls serving us were pleasant enough, but didn't really have any people and serving skills. Otherwise, we couldn't fault this restaurant.
It's was amazing had appointment in Young later pick-up take away still warm when I arrived home live in Rye Park. Did a little reheating flavours and beef in black bean sauce so tender. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Thanks for the service and good food.
Ordered take away and they were definitely busy. A bit of a delay but well worth it. Great ingredients clearly cooked fresh by someone who really knows what they a doing. Punchline - great food, brilliant flavours and a true pleasure to eat. We will definitely be back. Truly couldn't recommend it higher. Make the effort to get there - you will appreciate every mouthful.
I have been craving beef and black bean for weeks. I popped in and found they do a $16 dinner special which includes either fried or steamed rice. I ordered take away. Told 15 mins, arrived in 10. It was delicious old school Chinese! I asked for extra sauce and they were happy to oblige. Highly recommend.
Food is a little bit on the sweet side but I really loved it. The soups were slightly salty because I have personally reduced my salt intake so I am not used to salty food. We had short soup, chicken egg drop soup, special fried rice, combination chow mein, combination deluxe, salt and pepper squid. The servings were good for four and we even had leftovers. For drinks, we had lemon lime and bitters made from scratch. The staff were really nice, very attentive and, after dinner, even suggested we check out the Lambing Flat Chinese Tribute Garden. While waiting for our food, we were served a complimentary plate of cherries. Delicious. We were planning to go to another restaurant but they were fully booked. Serendipitously, we found Chowking. Don't mind the burnt signage, they are open for dine-in and takeaway.
Staff is very nice and friendly. We went to restaurant early 1 hour. Although they didn’t opened, they still cooked meals for us. Food is so yummy.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional! I ordered a variety of dishes, including Tofu vegetables, Chow King specials, and BBQ pork with black bean sauce. The owners, in addition to being talented cooks, also have wonderful personalities. I even decided to get some of the same dishes as takeout.
